Main duties and responsibilities:
Implementation of Activities
Provide individual psychological support sessions to GBV survivors.
Provide Emotional Support Group (ESG) sessions to GBV survivors in coordination with the GBV facilitator and the case worker
Complete the appropriate intake, assessment, and follow up of beneficiaries in need of psychotherapy.
Provide the appropriate psychotherapeutic intervention and psychosocial support to survivors in need of psychotherapy.
Being familiar with and work to consistently follow the healing process and timeframe guidelines within the condition-specific care pathways
Being familiar with the use of all assessment tools, sensitivities/specificities, cut-off points, and use limitations
Store and file beneficiaries' data ensuring the confidentiality of the information collected and the services provided according to the minimum standard
Organizing, in coordination with the other team members, psychological oriented activities (PSS, group therapy, etc.
Refer cases to other service providers as per the need
Reporting and coordination
Report activities on technical data sheets
Report individual information in the personal file
Coordinate internally with the team members and Amel staff
Meet and coordinate effectively with the Case Worker and/or any other team member in order to provide the best services through relevant case management
Participate in technical meetings for case study/conference
Participate in routine team meetings as daily briefing and weekly meeting
Participate in sessions and meetings with other Amel staff and with partners’ staff
Support in the development and implementation of activities
Other duties
Respect and abide by the organization's internal code of conduct;
Adhere to the principles and guidance of the National SGBV Case Management and SOPs, including mandatory reporting requirements
Maintain positive relations with other team members
Assist in performing other tasks as requested by line manager
Attend and participate in local and capacity-building events as needed/Actively participate in training throughout the year
Requirements, Qualifications, and skills:
Master’s in clinical psychology with a minimum of 3 years of professional practice in a similar environment. Having a work permit from the Ministry of Public Health.
Demonstrating professional facilitation skills and experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaboration with different members.
Fluent in English and Arabic (oral and written).
Sharing of key humanitarian values with cross-cultural sensitivity.
Experience in data gathering and analyses (Microsoft Office).
