  1. Website & Writing:

 

  • Generate/write/update content for himaya’s website when needed.
  • Coordinate with the web-developer for all matters related to himaya’s website.
  • Gather needed data and write himaya’s external newsletters using MailChimp, on a monthly basis.
  • Write crowd-funding campaigns when needed.
  • Proofread content when needed.

 

 

  1. Social Media:
  • Elaborate himaya’s social media strategy in coordination with relevant parties and review it on a yearly basis.
  • Generate ideas and social media campaigns as per the action plan to increase followers’ engagement and awareness about violence against children.
  • Submit monthly In-Sight reports and visibility reports to sponsors.
  • Submit a monthly social media calendar for approval within the set deadline.
  • Send the approved social media calendar and other relevant content to the Arabic translator/Volunteers.
  • Generate and coordinate for visuals with the Graphic Designer.
  • Provide a 100% response rate with a 24-hour response time on all social media platforms.
  • Coordinate with relevant parties in order to get the information needed to develop the needed content for social media and any other writing process.
  • Create procedures and policies related to social media when needed.
  • Contact different online platforms & online influencers/bloggers (events, fb pages, websites etc.)  platforms, to advertise events or campaigns.
  • Upload all interviews, advertising and others videos related to himaya on the YouTube channel and share them on Facebook and on himaya’s website when needed.

 

  1. Marketing and Communications:

 

  • Coordinate with PR or Advertising agencies when needed.
  • Participate in the concept, design and production of all awareness campaigns may it be outdoor, digital, online etc.

 

  1. Media:
  • Centralize all media contacts in the CommFund department’s contact list and update the Media Appearances tracker on a regular basis.
  • Receive all requests for media appearances and refer them to the right person in coordination with the CommFund manager.
  • Initiate contact with media outlets and reporters.
  • Send out press releases when needed.

 

  1. Miscellaneous:
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of himaya by effectively communicating information about its activities, projects, mission, values, and history.
  • Adhere to the mission and values of himaya by adopting and conveying its core values and concepts in both personal and professional contexts.
  • Participate in all activities and events organized by himaya (e.g., staff care, end-of-year gatherings...,).
  • Respect the Code of Conduct, the Child Protection Safeguarding Policy, the PSEAH Policy, and all internal regulations.

 Bachelor degree in business, public relations, social science, media, communication, digital marketing or any related field. Master’s degree is a plus  At least 7 years of relevant experience.  Experience in Marketing, advertising, Graphic Design, events organizing, Fundraising, … is a plus  Strong management and communication skills.  Time management.  Attention to detail.  Organized and calm.  Ability to work under pressure and hard situations.  Meet deadline.  Strong personality & creativity.  Strong networking and PR.  Fluent in oral and written Arabic, English and French.  Bachelor degree in or any related field.  2 to 3 years of relevant experience.  High technical experience in managing creative social media platforms and planning.  Good communication skills.  Strong written and oral abilities.  Ability to work under pressure and critical situations.  Organized, patient, fast and calm.  Research and proofreading skills.  Enthusiastic, committed and motivated.  High Microsoft Office proficiency.
