Service Provider for Sports Club
- Background
The sports club aims to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among children through structured sports activities and games. This initiative is part of our commitment to fostering the physical, social, and emotional development of children, encouraging a healthy lifestyle, and building essential life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience.
2. Objectives
The main objectives of the sports club are:
- To promote physical fitness and encourage an active lifestyle among children.
- To develop teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills through structured team sports and activities.
- To teach sportsmanship, discipline, and the importance of healthy competition.
- To create a supportive and safe environment for physical and personal growth.
- To foster a sense of community, belonging, and positive social interaction among participants.
3. Scope of Work
The successful service provider shall be responsible for delivering the following to a high-quality standard:
- Design a comprehensive sports program that includes activities appropriate for children aged (6-11) and (12-17).
- Conduct 10 structured sports sessions that promote physical fitness and encourage teamwork.
- Organize and conduct one final event (e.g., a sports day or competition) per each group that allows participants to showcase their skills and teamwork.
- Provide all necessary equipment and materials for the sports sessions and activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during the sessions and events.
- Encourage participation and create a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all children.
- Collect monitoring data in line with SIF M&E tools.
- Produce a final report at the end of the program highlighting lessons learned, participant feedback, and recommendations for future programs.
4. Deliverables
The service provider is expected to deliver the following:
- A detailed program plan outlining the schedule, activities, and materials required.
- Regular progress reports on the participation and engagement of club members.
- An evaluation report at the end of the contract period, including feedback from participants and recommendations for future improvements.
- At least one public sports event or competition showcasing the work and progress of the club.
5. Duration
The contract will be for a maximum of 8 months period.
6. Qualifications and Experience
The service provider should have:
- Proven experience in running sports programs or coaching, particularly for children.
- Experience working with children and adolescents, and understanding their developmental needs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in relation to children in sports activities.
7. Location
- Sessions will be conducted in BML area

Financial offer stating the amount needed per session (without the cost of equipment which will be covered by SIF) noting that the trainer will be delivering 20 sessions and 2 events for the two age groups mentioned above per each cycle.
