Service Provider for an Arts and Crafts Club

1. Background

The arts and crafts club aims to provide a creative and supportive environment where children can explore various artistic techniques, enhance their skills, and foster a sense of community engagement. This initiative is part of our broader commitment to promoting mental well-being, social inclusion, and child rights.

2. Objectives

The main objectives of the arts and crafts club are:

  • To provide a safe and inclusive space for participants to engage in artistic activities.
  • To enhance the creative skills and self-expression of participants.
  • To promote social interaction and community building.
  • To support the mental and emotional well-being of participants through creative activities mainly focusing on child rights.

3. Scope of Work

The successful service provider shall be responsible for delivering the following to a high-quality standard:

  • Design a comprehensive arts and crafts program that includes a variety of activities with a duration of 10 Sessions and suitable for (6-11) age group and (12-17) age group and diverse skill levels.
  • Conducting a curriculum consisting of 10 sessions in accordance with the arts and crafts program validated by SIF.
  • Conduct one final event per each group for participants on child rights
  • Provide a list with the necessary materials and tools needed for the art and craft activities. (Tools to be purchased by SIF)
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during the sessions.
  • Encourage participation and fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Ensure the collection of monitoring information in accordance with SIF M&E tools.
  • Produce a report at the end of the program highlighting lessons learnt and recommendations.

4. Deliverables

The service provider is expected to deliver the following:

  • A detailed program plan outlining the schedule, activities, and materials required.
  • Regular progress reports on the participation and engagement of club members.
  • An evaluation report at the end of the contract period, including feedback from participants and recommendations for future improvements.

5. Duration

The contract will be for a maximum of 8 months period.

6. Qualifications and Experience

The service provider should have:

  • Proven experience in arts and crafts education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents.
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate the sessions.

  • Sessions will be conducted in BML area
