1. Position Title: Recycling and Drawing Trainer
2. Objective of the Assignment
Guiding participants in creating artistic pieces while fostering an understanding of sustainability and creativity.
3. Scope of Work
The Trainer will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement a structured training plan for recycling and artistic drawing.
- Teach various techniques related to drawing on glass and ceramics.
- Instruct trainees on the principles of upcycling and sustainability in art.
- Assess trainees’ progress and provide individualized support as needed.
- Encourage creativity and innovation among participants.
- Address challenges faced by trainees and provide guidance to enhance their learning experience.
- Ensure the use of appropriate materials and tools for effective learning.
4. Deliverables:
- A well-structured training program for recycling and artistic drawing.
- Hands-on sessions with trainees, ensuring skill acquisition and improvement.
- Progress reports on trainees' development and recommendations for improvement.
5. Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- Proven experience and expertise in recycling techniques and artistic drawing on glass and ceramics.
- Strong knowledge of sustainable art practices and upcycling methods.
- Previous experience in training or teaching art skills is preferred.
- Understanding of women's and girls’ issues and ability to create a supportive environment.
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and adapt training methods to different learning needs.
6. Reporting Line:
The trainer will report to the project manager or designated focal person.
7. Duration & Location:
The trainer will conduct 12 training days for 3 months for a group of 10 women and girls, starting April,2025.
