Procurement of Traps, Pheromones, and Pesticides
The project is Funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), through RET Germany, and implemented by GATE Lebanon
Under the project "Improving Food Security, livelihoods, and inclusion of women and vulnerable groups, and promoting gender equality in Northern Lebanon," funded by BMZ through RET Germany in cooperation with GATE Lebanon, a program is being implemented to support farmers in Akkar in improving their agriculture practices to reduce their costs and increase their income.
GATE Lebanon is seeking qualified and experienced suppliers to submit bids for the supply and delivery of traps, pheromones, and pesticides to support an ongoing agricultural project in Akkar, Lebanon. The selected supplier(s) must provide high-quality products that meet international agricultural and environmental standards.

The procurement includes the following items:
A. Traps
B. Pheromones
C. Pesticides

Suppliers must ensure that all products comply with Lebanese regulations and international safety and environmental standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested suppliers must meet the following requirements:
- Legally registered in Lebanon.
- Ability to deliver the requested items within the specified timeframe.
- Products must have proper labeling, expiration dates, and meet Ministry of Agriculture standards.
How to apply
Submission Requirements
Suppliers must submit a complete bid including the following:
- Technical Specifications – Detailed descriptions of the offered products.
- Pricing Proposal – Clear and competitive pricing, including VAT and delivery costs.
- Delivery Timeline – Estimated time for supply and delivery to Tripoli.
- Product Certifications & Safety Data Sheets (SDS) – Compliance with international agricultural safety standards, and the MOA specifications.
Submission Process
Submission Method:
- For online submissions: All documents must be in PDF format and clearly scanned for readability. Send them via email to procurement@gatelebanon.org, with the subject line: "Procurement of Traps, Pheromones, and Pesticides."
- For hard copy submissions: Documents must be placed in a sealed brown A4 envelope and delivered to the GATE Lebanon Office at Achrafieh, Chukri Choucair St, Assaad Eid Building, 3rd Floor. The envelope should be labeled only with: "Procurement of Traps, Pheromones, and Pesticides."
