Job Purpose: The Child Care Attendant is responsible for implementing engaging and safe activities for children accompanying their caregivers during sessions. This role focuses on fostering a secure and stimulating environment through interactive techniques such as games, storytelling, handcrafts, theater, puppets, Lego, and other relevant methods. The attendant ensures children's safety and well-being, upholding Basmeh & Zeitooneh's child protection and safeguarding policies.

Major Activities :

• Implement interactive activities for children using games, storytelling, handcrafts, theater, puppets, Lego, and other suitable methods.
• Ensure activities are conducted in safe and appropriate locations, aligning with minimum standards.
• Maintain a safe and stress-free environment for all children, ensuring they feel respected and secure.
• Positively interact with children, encouraging participation and play.
• Promote inclusive participation by adopting non-discriminatory, age-appropriate, and gender-sensitive approaches.
• Follow the organization's internal code of conduct and child protection/safeguarding policies.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Working within the principles of the Code of Conduct.
• Ensuring that participants have access to the appropriate service.
• Ensuring that the Foundation’s team interacts with participants within the principles of the B&Z, especially preserving dignity and avoiding psychological harm.
• Achieving the required number of participants at the end of the program while ensuring the quality of work.
• Ensure that a safe environment is provided for the child in the institution and the school.
• Create positive communication with the team.

Education & Experience :

• University degree with at least 1 year of experience working with children, OR high school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience as a facilitator or animator of children's activities.
• Motivated, flexible, and possesses strong communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of child protection practices.
• Serves as a positive role model for children.
