The communication assistant is responsible for the publishing of Legal Agenda’s content on its website and social media channels. S/he is also responsible for assisting in coordinating the production of communication material and the organization of events. S/he uses several tools to organize production and publishing and to report on the audience engagement statistics.
Responsibilities
- Meticulously maintain Legal Agenda’s website in Arabic and English, making sure the website is regularly updated and content is published optimally. Monitor the effectiveness of the user experience via analytics..
- Manage Legal Agenda’s social media platforms, publishing Legal Agenda’s content, and ensuring it reaches defined audiences.
- Use analytics and reporting tools regularly to monitor the user experience on the website and social media channels and evaluate the outcomes.
- Facilitate the development of a publishing calendar.
- Maintain Legal Agenda’s visual assets database.
- Draft and edit communication material such as captions on social media and the Legal Agenda’s newsletter.
- Coordinate the production, and post-production of online and offline multimedia communication and advocacy materials in collaboration with Legal Agenda’s team and external consultants.
- Assist in the planning, promotion, and execution of advocacy events by contributing to communication strategies, content creation, stakeholder coordination, and effective media and audience engagement.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, advertising, public relations, or related field.
Work Experience
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in the field of communication in a reputable organization, ideally within a media, public or nonprofit institution.
Languages
Fluent in Arabic and English, spoken and written.
