Pool of Language Teachers (Arabic & English)

Objective of the activity

The objective of this activity is to provide Arabic and English language training to MSF staff to:

1. Enhance communication skills for operational effectiveness.
2. Facilitate the mobility of MSF staff, ensuring they are equipped with the language skills necessary.
3. Support the ongoing professional development of staff by providing structured and effective language learning.

Tasks and Scope of Work

The language consultants will be responsible for:

1. Designing and delivering Arabic and English language classes tailored to the specific needs and proficiency levels of MSF staff.
2. Conducting regular assessments of language progress and adapting lessons to ensure continuous improvement.
3. Providing individualized feedback and support to students to help them achieve their language learning goals through exercises and homeworks.
4. Provide speaking, reading and writing classes.
5. Provide a clear program of learning and practice sessions at the beginning of the month for each student.
6. Reporting on the progress of the students to MSF’s designated staff, including detailed evaluations at the end of each month.​​​​​

Performance/Reporting Requirements

1. Final report on language course outcomes- End of the course- Communication by email

2. Attendance and participation records - Monthly- Attendance Record

Qualification Requirements

The candidate must meet the following criteria:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching Arabic and/or English as a second language.

- Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with a strong understanding of cultural contexts and communication styles.

- Relevant academic qualifications (e.g., a degree in linguistics, TESOL, or equivalent).

- Proven ability to design and deliver language courses tailored to the needs of adults in professional environments.

- Experience working with diverse, multi-cultural groups in international organizations is preferred.

Terms of Financing

• The service provider will receive up to a maximum 120 $ per month per student according to the number of hours taken and validated during the month . (maximum up to 10 sessions per month)
• Teacher must provide an attendance sheet signed by all students for each class, with the invoice indicating (name of service provider, address, financial number & name, address, MoF registration ) In case of not providing the MoF certificate, 8.5% NRT will be deducted from the total payment.
