Positive Parenting Facilitator

The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking to recruit a “Positive Parenting Facilitator” for “Alternatives to Combat Exploitive Child Labour through Empowerment and Sustainable Services – ACCESS-Lebanon” Project supported by RDPP Lebanon in partnership with Plan International.

Main Duties and Responsibilities.

• Plan and deliver positive parenting sessions for caregivers based on assessed needs and session objectives.
• Use culturally and contextually appropriate approaches and tools in delivering sessions.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment that encourages open dialogue and sharing.
• Provide individual or group support during sessions to address immediate emotional challenges.
• Offer strategies for stress management, conflict resolution, and self-care to caregivers.
• Document attendance, session outcomes, and feedback from participants.
•  Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including community leaders and other service providers, to ensure alignment and effective referral pathways.
• Prepare a report summarizing key outcomes, challenges, and recommendations after completing the sessions

   

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience facilitating psychosocial support or similar sessions, preferably with caregivers or vulnerable populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to manage group dynamics effectively.
• Knowledge of culturally and contextually appropriate psychosocial support practices.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare clear and concise reports

Period of Employment: 48 sessions ranging between 1 February 2025 – 31 January 2026

Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Education Degree: Bachelor Degree in psychology social work, counseling, or a related field.
