Call for Proposal: Education in Emergencies Workshop
Project Name: Emergency Education and Psychosocial Support for Vulnerable Children in Tripoli Location: North Lebanon - Tripoli Workshop Dates: Two Full Days Participants: 10 Teachers
1. Background Assabil Association is pleased to invite qualified consultants and organizations to submit proposals for conducting a two-day workshop on Education in Emergencies (EiE). This workshop is part of the "Emergency Education and Psychosocial Support for Vulnerable Children in Tripoli" project, which supports Lebanese and Syrian children through education and tutoring programs.
2. Objectives of the Workshop The workshop aims to:
• Build the capacity of teachers in delivering quality education in emergency settings.
• Provide practical strategies for supporting children's psychosocial well-being.
• Enhance teaching methodologies to address the needs of vulnerable children.
3. Scope of Work The workshop should cover:
• Key concepts and principles of Education in Emergencies.
• Psychosocial support strategies for children affected by crises.
• Classroom management techniques in emergency contexts.
• Inclusive education practices for diverse classrooms.
• Practical tools for assessing and improving learning outcomes.
4. Roles and Responsibilities
• Consultant (Party 1):
o Develop the workshop outline and agenda.
o Design materials, activities, and presentations.
o Facilitate the workshop sessions.
o Provide pre- and post-assessments for participants.
• Assabil Association (Party 2 - Host Organization):
o Provide logistical support, including venue arrangements.
o Coordinate with participants and oversee workshop implementation.
o Offer technical assistance and follow-up support after the workshop.
5. Proposal Submission Requirements Proposals should include the following:
A. Technical Proposal:
• Workshop outline with proposed topics and methodologies.
• Detailed agenda for the two-day workshop.
• Profiles and qualifications of the consultant(s).
B. Financial Proposal:
• Total workshop facilitation fee, including logistical arrangements and supplies.
• Separate costs for catering, including small breakfast, coffee breaks, and lunch (sandwiches and drinks) for up to 12 persons.

7. Selection Criteria Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
