Algorithm is implementing the CHP system which exploits the heat of the generator in order to recover some of its energy and allows it's longer use and at a decreased cost
Objective
The main objective of this project is to assess and analyze the technical and environmental feasibility of implementing a CHP system at Algorithm. This study will help the company to have a better technical viability of the project. Based on this assessment, recommendations will be made regarding the adoption of a CHP system

- Conduct Site Assessments on Zekrit Premises of the Company
The consultant will conduct field visits on Zekrit premises of Algorithm to be able to assess the existing systems that supports the CHP system. In addition, the consultant will assess the available space, infrastructure, and utilities (e.g., electrical connections, fuel supply, thermal distribution systems) that could support the CHP system
- Develop an In-Depth Technical Feasibility Study of the Project:
The consultant will provide an in-depth technical feasibility study of the CHP system which includes (but not limited to) energy consumption analysis, determine the size and type of CHP needed, propose the most suitable design, and provide in detail all equipment needed to activate the system
- Impact of the System
The consultant will develop the major impact of the system. The consultant will assess the environmental benefits of adopting a CHP system (including reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and improved energy efficiency) and the efficiency of the system in terms of energy being produced
- Set a Risk Assessment
Identify and assess potential risks associated with the operation of the CHP system (including equipment failure, fuel supply disruptions, and regulatory changes) and develop a mitigation plan
Deliverables
Deliverable 1: Initial Assessment and Data Gathering
- Conduct introductory meetings with Algorithm management team to understand their objectives, challenges, and expectations.
