Media Expert/Consultant - Building the Capacities of the National Network of Insider Mediators

About the Assignment

The Insider Mediators Network in Lebanon plays a pivotal role in addressing conflicts, particularly in response to the displacement crisis and ongoing tensions. To raise awareness of mediation's impact and the diverse roles of mediators, we aim to produce two animated videos. The videos will demonstrate the power of mediation in both everyday conflicts and more complex challenges across the country.

The first video will introduce insider mediation through relatable conflict resolution scenarios. The second will highlight the different profiles of mediators within the network, emphasizing their various professional backgrounds and contributions to community peacebuilding, without being self-promotional. Both videos are intended to increase public awareness of the mediation process and its broader impact, with a portion of the budget allocated to grants supporting the creation of these videos.

Additionally, 10 reels (cut-out segments from the videos) will be produced to ensure the message is accessible and shareable on social media platforms.

  3. Social Media Reels: Ten 15-30 second cut-outs from the videos, optimized for social media to further spread the message of mediation and its positive community impact.
