Request for Proposal – Purchasing of Medical Equipment for Amel Khiam Center

1 – Overview:

Amel Association International (Amel) is a Lebanese and non-sectarian NGO created in 1979. Amel works through 30 centers, 6 mobile medical units, 2 mobile education units and 1 protection unit, and for more than 40 years has supported the poorest regions of Lebanon, from Beirut and its South Suburbs to Mount Lebanon, Bekaa and South Lebanon. Amel offers accessible services for all in the following fields: food security, health, education, protection, child protection, gender-based violence, livelihood, promotion and protection of human rights, rural development

2 – Scope of work:

Amel is looking for suppliers which are able to provide the following:

• Ultrasound machine-cart based-4D digital color ultrasound with cardiac probe, convex probe and trans-vaginal probe + thermal printer
• ECG Machine, 12 leads, waves are displayed and recorded simultaneously, battery operated with thermal printer, CE certified, Input Impedance: >50ΜΩ, Frequency response: 0.05 ~ 150HZ(-3dB)
• Fully automated chemistry analyzer, low to mid volume labs, spectrometry and potentiometry, sample types: serum, plasma, full blood and urine, visible light, UV and IR wave lengths, autocalibration

Note: 

1. The selected supplier will reserve and store the equipment in his warehouse until the general situation allows Amel to install the subject equipment in Khiam Center.
2. Amel reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of ordered Kits.

3 – The quotation must include:

• Same requested specification
• The number of the registration in the ministry of finance (if existing)
• VAT
• Prices in USD
• Guarantee period
• Validity of the Quotation 

4 – Required Documents:

All Bidders are required to send the below requirements procurementdpt@amel.org with the subject “RFQ – 04079 – Medical Equipment for Amel Khiam Center” copying procurement@amel.org and procurementfield@amel.org :

• A signed and stamped quotation.
• Certificate of the registration in the ministry of finance (الشهاد المالية). and all related legal papers including owner ID.
• Copy of the specs, pictures and data sheets of the offered equipment

5 – Payment Terms:

• Bank transfer.

6 – Questions/ Request for clarification

Any requests for clarification may be submitted by email to procurementdpt@amel.org or via WhatsApp on this number 03-783083.

7 – Timeframe

• Quotations and the requested papers should be submitted 10 working days after the day of posting this tender.

8 – Important

Kindly note that the quotation will be automatically rejected if

• The bidder doesn’t send all the requested papers (mentioned in number 4).
• The quotation doesn’t include the requirements (mentioned in number 2).

The quotation is received after the deadline.
