Context & Background
Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.
The Accelerator Program's mission is to nurture and grow disruptive ideas, proof of concepts, and prototypes that share three common characteristics:
- A disruptive scientific or technological focus in the Clean-tech sector.
- The possibility to scale beyond the local market.
- The potential to create sustainable job opportunities locally.
Scope of work
The Accelerator Program seeks an expert in communication and digital marketing to deliver a full day workshop on Communication and Digital Marketing and facilitate One-on-One Sessions for cleantech startups. The objective is to equip these startups with essential communication and branding skills, enhance their market visibility, and provide them with tools to craft compelling messages for both B2B and B2C audiences. A key focus will also be on helping startups track and improve their marketing efforts using data-driven analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
The selected trainers will be responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive workshop that covers the following topics:
- Developing Essential Communication Skills:
- Training startups on building a clear brand narrative.
- Teaching techniques for crafting persuasive and targeted messages focusing on communication strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Brand Visibility and Digital Marketing Strategies:
- Helping startups enhance their brand visibility through digital marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing).
- Leveraging social media to boost startup marketing and improve audience engagement.
- Learning the basics of SEO and how it can improve online visibility for cleantech startups.
- Data-Driven Marketing and Performance Tracking:
- Educating startups on how to set and track KPIs for marketing campaigns.
- Introducing them to tools for analytics and performance monitoring to measure results and optimize strategies.
- Developing a Digital Marketing Plan and Budget:
- Introducing startups to writing and budgeting a Digital Marketing plan that aligns with their growth objectives.
The One-on-One sessions will provide personalized feedback and guidance to each startup and help them apply learnings from the workshop to their specific communication and marketing challenges.
Deliverables
- Workshop Outline and Materials
- Training Delivery (Full day)
- Conduct 2 one-on-one sessions for up to 8 startups (total up to 16 one-on-one sessions)
- Provide a report summarizing the outcomes, feedback, and recommendations for each startup.
- One full digital communication strategy for up to 8 startups.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in digital marketing and brand communication.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in communication – working with startups is a plus.
- Hands on experience managing the full training cycle.
- Strong communications skills and professional credibility.
- Fluent in English.
