Farah Social Foundation (FSF) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization committed to international human rights law and international humanitarian law, and abides by their provisions. It was founded in 1988 and registered in Lebanon under number 47.
Our mission is to contribute to the social and economic development of communities, especially those facing disadvantages. We work towards eradicating poverty and empowering individuals to actively participate in their own development and that of their communities.
FSF aims to support vulnerable people, including youth, women, people with disabilities, and chronic patients, by providing livelihood, food security, health, and protection services. Our main focus is on the Mount Lebanon governorate.
Contracting Authority: FSF has received grants from the United Nations Office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA-LHF) as a sub-implementing partner to Solidarities International, to implement a project titled “Provision of integrated Food security and Shelter Assistance through a protection lens to 4,140 Persons within Zahle area”. The intervention aims at ensuring the immediate and essential food needs of affected 320 IDPs and non-IDPs sheltering in Zahle district through providing food assistance (hot meals and food parcels).
The agreement includes the provision of 3,360 hot meals as listed in the document (BOQ to be filled):
Closing Date: The deadline for bid submission is 30-10-2024 at 3:00 P.M. Beirut Time. All bids submitted after that date will be rejected.
The process: Suppliers from the local market are invited to participate in this tender based on:
- The ability to provide all the ingredients listed in the BOQ.
- The ability to provide the dry materials weekly based on sent PO.
- The ability to provide fresh vegetables, meat and chicken on daily basis based on the sent PO.
All offers should include:
- Legal documents to be submitted (Commercial registry, VAT registration document)
- Financial Proposal signed and stamped (printed)
- Offer validity
- Payment method
The offers will be subjected to scoring criteria detailed below on different levels:
- Administrative evaluation 10%
- Technical evaluation 40%
- Financial evaluation 50%
Other notes to be taken into consideration:
- Bank charges: FSF will not be responsible for any bank charges whether local or at the intermediate bank. Bidders must consider this issue when submitting offers.
- FSF will not be responsible for any costs related to customs, or facilitation fees. Bidders must consider this issue when submitting offers.
- The Expiry date for the requested items should minimum be one year.
