Creativity, LinkedIn, and Mental Health Facilitators
Semeurs d’Avenir (SDA) is a Lebanese association, created in 2010, registered under the number 1905. It is the operational partner of IECD in Lebanon.
The DAFI (Albert Einstein German Academic Refugee Initiative) scholarship program offers qualified refugee and returnee students the possibility to earn an undergraduate degree in their country of asylum or home country. Semeurs d’Avenir is currently the implementing partner of the program.
The DAFI program annually selects students through a highly competitive process, evaluating not only their academic achievements but also their contributions to their communities and commitment to self-development. This rigorous selection ensures that the program is composed of individuals who demonstrate both intellectual capacity and a strong dedication to fostering personal and communal growth.
Upon their acceptance, SDA provides continued support by developing individualized action plans aimed at promoting self-growth. These plans are thoughtfully designed to align each student's personal development initiatives with the broader communal goals of reflection, collaborative progress, and long-term sustainability. By harmonizing these individual and collective pathways, the program cultivates a comprehensive trajectory of growth that benefits both the students and the communities to which they contribute and belong.
In LOT 1, SDA is seeking a skilled facilitator with expertise in therapeutic tools and creative processes to guide the DAFI students in unlocking and developing their creativity toward authentic expression. The facilitator will be responsible for conducting online sessions and proposing strategies for ensuring the sustainability of the workshop’s objectives on a communal level.
In LOT 2, SDA is seeking a skilled facilitator with expertise in LinkedIn portfolio optimization to conduct a comprehensive online workshop. This workshop will guide students through the key elements of building a professional and impactful LinkedIn presence, helping them better position themselves for future career opportunities.
In LOT 3, SDA is looking for a facilitator to conduct one or more workshops/sessions designed to address the mental health needs of the DAFI students by integrating trauma-informed practices with a focus on social and historical contexts while building and re-building cultural resilience. We aim to create a space where participants can critically explore their mental health within the context of their lived experiences and develop tools for resilience and healing.
