Driver

Main Tasks:

• Safely transport staff, volunteers, and goods to and from designated locations, including project sites, offices, and other events.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment at various centers and project locations, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in safe and working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities, to ensure accountability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and NGO safety policies during all driving activities, promoting safe transportation practices.
• Support logistics planning by coordinating schedules and routes effectively, optimizing transportation for maximum efficiency.
• Work closely with other staff members to understand and fulfill transportation needs related to projects, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Communicate effectively with staff and other stakeholders regarding transportation logistics, changes, or any issues that arise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, ensuring it is always presentable and ready for use.

• Job Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in an NGO or humanitarian context.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles is an advantage.
• Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.

• القدرة على العمل لساعات مرنة والتكيف مع الجداول الزمنية المتغيرة.
