MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnership Development and Fundraising:
- Research, identify, and evaluate potential partners aligned with Embrace’s mission and strategic goals, including local and international organizations.
- Prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals, funding appeals or sponsorship packages, and pitches to secure funding, aligning with the partnership strategy set for the year.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current partners, ensuring long-term collaboration.
- Support negotiations for partnership agreements, memorandums of understanding (MoUs), and contracts to formalize commitments.
Partnership Management:
- Oversee the successful implementation of partnership agreements, ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations and agreed deliverables.
- Monitor the performance and outcomes of partnerships, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Provide continuous support and maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as the main point of contact for partnership inquiries.
Representation and Networking:
- Represent Embrace at partnership meetings, conferences, events, and other networking opportunities.
- Communicate Embrace’s mission, programs, and achievements to current and potential partners in a compelling and professional manner.
- Build Embrace’s visibility and reputation as a trusted partner in the mental health and humanitarian sectors.
Monitoring, Evaluation, & Reporting:
- Track partnership progress and ensure alignment with Embrace’s strategic goals and values.
- Prepare detailed reports and updates on partnership activities, achievements, challenges, and financial outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline the process of data collection and representation of progress, program and financial reporting to partners.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the Director of Strategic Partnerships on internal audit control, strategy implementation and future funding trends.
QUALIFICATONS
Critical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, public relations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 2-3 years of experience in partnership development, fundraising, or grant management, preferably within the non-profit or social services sector.
- Strong understanding of the Lebanese non-profit landscape, mental health issues, and the fundraising environment.
- Excellent Command of English and Arabic.
- Experience in grant writing, proposal development, and managing fundraising campaigns.
- Proficient in grants management systems (GMS platform- etools- DIV portal) and Microsoft Office Tools (Word- Excel- PowerPoint)

TIME COMMITMENT
- 40 hours a week, with mobility to partner meetings within Lebanon- mainly Beirut area (Full-Time)
- Weekly strategic meetings with director of strategic partnerships.
- Monthly progress meetings with external partners.
- Monthly progress meetings with program directors and/or managers.
REPORTING LINES
The Partnerships Officer reports directly to the Director of Strategic Partnerships with certain communication line to the Managing Director. Works closely with department directors and program managers/coordinators as needed.
