RESPONSIBILTIES:

1- Finance:

  • Prepare and process office payments in line with SOPs in place.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of petty cash transactions.
  • Prepare bank, cash reconciliation and monthly financial books.
  • Assist in projecting monthly/yearly office expenses.
  • Process financial data entries into Navision system and maintain accounting records.
  • Update financial records as necessary.
  • Keep track of important office documentation and accounts - Inventory records, finance folders, stock supplies, contracts, and schedule of payments.
  • Maintain financial policies.

2- Admin:

  • Support all administrative activities such as maintenance, printing, procurement of supplies and equipment.
  • Keep track on annual maintenance plan and follow up on scheduled maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain an updated office inventory list.

3- General:

  • Ensure compliance with all Internal, donor policies, rules and guidelines about finance and administrative procedures.
  • Keep track on ISO standards and ensure necessary procedures are being followed and maintained.
  • Perform Other related Admin/Finance activities as necessary and as instructed
  • Adhere to ICMC’s standard operating procedures, code of conduct, and security protocols.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in the field
  • Experience with international NOGs is an asset

 

QUALIFICATIONS and KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Good command of English and Arabic language
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of accounting software
  • Knowledge in Navision is an asset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Accountability
  • Conduct work with the highest level of personal and professional integrity.
  • Must comply with and actively promote ICMC's zero tolerance policy with regard to sexual exploitation and abuse, harassment, abuse of power, fraud and corruption in all of its activities and responsibilities.
