Senior Web developer

TERRE Liban is currently implementing a Grant project funded by the EU entitled “Promoting community policing in Lebanon” implemented in Lebanon.

Duration of this project: 12 months.

The aim of this project is to promote the role of the Lebanese ISF in Human Rights (Environmental Rights- Lot 4) reinforcement within the Lebanese community by providing practical and easy-flying tools and instruments that could centralize the pollution observatory and environmental laws reinforcement in Lebanon.

Scope of Work:

TERRE Liban is seeking to recruit the services of a Senior Web developer responsible of developing a solution that could support the environmental violation reporting system in the Lebanese territory.

General tasks:

The tasks mentioned below shall be performed in close cooperation with the Project manager. The developer will be responsible for providing both front end and back-end development. Design and development of the solution including all necessary accesses. The project team will provide the developer with all available documents and data in this subject.

 The tasks involved will cover the following items:

Provide

Build and optimize a secure web page

Design layouts, add features and interactivity

Develop SEO for the website 

Maintain communication with team members concerning the direction of the website

Test, review and launch the website

Debugging website and ensure software documentation is updated.

Senior Web Developer Requirements:

• Academic Qualifications:

Degree in computer science, IT, or similar.

3-5 years of experience in web development.

Practical experience with content management systems.

Experience with wireframe and diagnostic tools.

Leadership and management skills.

Excellent customer service and research abilities.

Willingness to work overtime when required.

Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.

Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
