Request for Applications - Crisis Management Strengthening for CSOs in Lebanon

The Lebanon Civic Action Accelerator Program (LEB-CAAP) is a United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded civil society strengthening program (2021-26) implemented by Family Health International (FHI 360). It will provide a combination of grants, technical assistance, and partnerships aimed at accelerating civil society activism to address Lebanon's compounded crises and advance long-term rights-based reforms.

Under this Request for Applications (RFA), LEB-CAAP is seeking to partner with a Lebanese intermediary support organization (ISO) specialized in CSOs capacity building and crisis management strengthening to design and deliver a customized training and coaching program to support CSOs and community-based organizations withstand the ongoing compounded crises.

This intervention aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of CSOs in financial management and human resources management in times of crises in particular, to mitigate the impact of the compounded crises on their operations, efficiency, and sustainability. It will be designed to equip CSOs with tools and resources that will help them resolve key bottlenecks and address daily struggles primarily in these two areas, to increase their adaptability and viability in these turbulent times. The intervention will also help LEB-CAAP assess common needs and opportunities among Lebanese civil society to develop sustainable solutions for CSO strengthening during the protracted crisis.

Interested ISOs are expected to submit a technical narrative, detailed budget, and other required documents as per the attached Request for Applications by 5:00 pm on June 23, 2022.
