Consultancy: MedUP! Expert in “E-Commerce”

Description

MedUP! is a regional project funded by EU and implemented by Oxfam Italia in six countries. In Lebanon, the project is carried out by Oxfam Lebanon. MedUP! aims to promote an enabling environment in the Southern Mediterranean partner countries for the development of the social entrepreneurship sector as a driver for inclusive growth and job creation. Its specific objective is to increase economic inclusiveness and employment in Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine where adequate policies on social entrepreneurship are in place, public-private dialogue and exchanges of practices are promoted and high-quality services for social enterprises are provided.

In Lebanon, MedUP! aims at (i) promoting country and cross-country policy, advocacy initiatives and public-private dialogue to create an enabling regulatory and policy environment (macro level); (ii) reinforcing social entrepreneurship support organizations through capacity-building and networking activities (meso level); (iii) providing financial and technical support to 10 social enterprises (micro level).

2- Purpose of recruitment:

We are searching for a consultant who possesses tangible expertise in “E-Commerce” to participate in an exchange of technical expertise with Social entrepreneurs and the Social Enterprise Support Organizations (SESOs) in a one-day learning event.

3- E-commerce Content that includes tools and process to help Lebanese SEs/SMEs explore the E-commerce potentials:

• Understand the opportunity of e-commerce for SMEs in Lebanon 
• Checking competitors and reviewing the e-commerce strategy 
• Understanding costs in e-commerce 
• Identifying products to sell on online channels 
• Market research tools 
• Developing quality product e-commerce content 
• Developing quality company e-commerce content 
• Shipping 
• Marketplaces 
• Payments 

1. Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Economics, Business, or any other relevant areas.
• Proven work experience in “E-Commerce” in Lebanon.
• Highly motivated and engaging.
• Excellent administration, organizational and time management skills.
• Constructive attitude.
• Excellent communication in English and Arabic.
