Community Health (CH) Trainer

Period of Performance: 3 months

Level of Effort: The Consultant will work according to the deliverables listed below 

Background:

Task Description:
IMC’s Community health program conducts a series of Social and community-based trainings for a group of Health Outreach Volunteers who are Syrian and Lebanese volunteers expected to raise awareness among both refugee and host communities. The trainings will be based on the CH guidebook, which includes a set of sessions and activities, that were created in order to facilitate the implementation of CH clubs and campaigns by HOVs.
Training topics include, parenting skills, communication skills, Disabilities, and other social topics like addictions, depression, and home accidents.

• Develop training material (PowerPoint presentations/Handouts), and training Agenda
• Deliver training on pre-set date based on training schedule
• Prepare interactive activities to involve volunteers in active learning
• Create pre and posttests to allow measurement of knowledge improvement

Deliverables: Community Health trainings (Agenda, training material, pre-posttest)

Minimum Qualifications: Social Worker with good communication, facilitation and training skills
Previous Experience in delivering relevant trainings is a plus

Fee Amount: A Fixed Fee of 300 USD/training day that covers training and transportation cost will be paid based on completion and International Medical Corps acceptance of deliverables.

Location of Work: Consultant resides in Lebanon and will conduct her/his work in his own company
