Job Overview:
The Technical Consultant is responsible for conducting needs assessment for early childhood education curriculum that aligns with the IRC’s standards. He/She will:
- Conduct needs assessment for early childhood education curricula and content in nurseries licensed by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH):
- Identify the objectives of the needs assessment
- Prepare the needs assessment methodology (including the identification of the ECD curriculum needs)
- Implement the needs assessment in nurseries
- Analyze the data
- Report and disseminate the data

Key Working Relationships:
Position Reports to: ECD Senior Technical Quality Manager
Requirements:
- Master’s in Social Sciences or other related fields.
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience working in Education research and assessment
- Strong understanding of educational context and needs in Lebanon.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Autonomy and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility, commitment, work ethics and team spirit.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, French is an asset.
Working Environment:
Field visits will be required to MOPH nurseries in different areas.
