IRC Request for Application from CP Actors in North Lebanon and North Bekaa

With reference to the Request for Application launched by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) on 16 March 2021, the IRC would like to announce the extension of the deadline to respond to Request for Application until Sunday 18 April 2021 - 5:00 pm, Beirut time.

The purpose of this RFA is to invite Child Protection local organizations working in the humanitarian and developmental fields in North of Lebanon and North of Beqaa to submit an application for a potential partnership opportunity with the IRC in the framework of its current and upcoming programming in Lebanon. The local organizations would be supported to scale up or adapt their capacities to provide focused PSS and risk
mitigation activities for vulnerable and at-risk children aged 6 to 17 years old from refugee, host and other (stateless, etc.) communities.

Under the CP program, the IRC in 2021 aims at increasing vulnerable and at risk children’s access to quality, specialized individual and group-level protection assistance. This is done through the provision of life saving services such as case management, focused psycho-social support and risk mitigation activities for children survivors or at risk of abuse, exploitation and neglect including out of school and working children. In addition,
caregivers are targeted with parenting sessions. Working in partnership with local and national civil society organizations and government agencies is fundamental to the IRC’s mission to help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future. Effective local partnerships enable the IRC to pursue the strategic objectives set out in IRC 2021 Strategy, resulting in more effective, responsive and durable assistance that reaches more people and produces better outcomes.
