As part of "Shabab Live" project, Al Jana Center is looking for a Business Development consultant with an experience in strategies development and an emphasis on media outlets. The post holder will be part of “Our stories” platform project, in which s/he will be developing a marketing strategy to enhance the sustainability of the Platform.

“Our Stories” is a pioneering project initiated by Dawaer Foundation aims to highlight the voice of young people to express their solutions and youth issues, problems, and aspirations, and to defend the rights of people, especially youth, and seek change, by producing illustrated stories on mobile.

Role Overview: 

The Business Development consultant will have the following role: 

  • Plan, develop and oversee the overall business development strategy 
  • Plan for platform's financial success 
  • Determine key business development KPIs 
  • Communicate with clients 
  • Develop sales strategy and onboard new customers 
  • Build strong relationships with competitors and other personnel 

Accountabilities /Responsibilities: 

In accordance with Dawaer’s policy and procedures, the post holder will be: 

  • Designing a full-fledge visibility and marketing strategy that will increase engagements and sales potential, and driving the Online Media Platform of Our Stories in to generate income.
  • Designing and helping disseminate selling points suitable for detrital media platform or traditional media.
  • Analyzing the effectiveness of different channels (including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube) to check on potential sales leads.
  • Developing plans and tools to hook clients and increase users' willingness to follow, share, and buy. 
  • Monitoring, measuring, analyzing, reviewing, and reporting on marketing campaigns and strategies to maximize potential sales and engagements.
  • Sharing insights and feedback with Dawaer’s team to help them evolve their strategies. 
  • Contributing to Dawaer’s mission and comply to our values of Non-discrimination, Inclusiveness, Participation, Responsibility, non-violence. 

Requirements, experience and skills: 

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Business Development or similar field.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of advertising.
  • Experience in working on online media marketing and visibility strategies.
  • Experience in generating income through digital media platforms or others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem solver.
