SE Factory is a leading coding academy and job placement organization in Lebanon. It is a social enterprise that trains highly skilled youth in Lebanon and connects them with global companies looking to recruit tech and digital talent.
SEF is one of the most successful such organizations in MENA, having achieved over 90% employment success for its graduates in the past 5 years. The team is growing and looking to onboard a Business Development and Customer Success Officer.
Should you be hired, you will work alongside the team to achieve SEF’s vision of turning Lebanon into a successful tech and digital outsourcing hub for global companies.
This is a junior position for recent university graduates. The person taking on the role will work mainly with the Head of Business Development, with overall objective to achieve high employment success rate to a large majority of its graduates (80% to 90%), with a majority of the recruiting companies coming from outside Lebanon.
The recruited specialist will work with the rest of the team to ensure constant and intelligent bridging between the job market side/recruiter side and the student/training side.
On the training side:
Communicate with applicant coders so they have clear understanding of job market expectations
Follow up with tech and soft skills instructors, communicating with them companies’ expectations to make sure training is always market-adapted
Support with pitch training and mock interviews
On the recruitment side:
Find and onboard companies (called Recruitment Partners or RPs) looking to hire tech and digital talent
Help with bootcamp graduation events, ensuring high attendance and preparation of RPs for recruitment
Maintain ongoing RP relationships and help them find the right recruits from SEF, achieving long-term customer success and satisfaction
Help build an engaged RP network that sees SEF as the preferred and highest quality hiring partner
Help Business Development Manager to explore new revenue streams and develop new products
Related activities include:
Collaborate with manager and designers on content for outreach and marketing related to the RP onboarding process
Generate surveys to collect information from new companies and existing RPs to have a better understanding on current tech market trends and hiring needs
Liaise with RPs on submitting projects for students’ graduation project
Support with interview coordination and logistics (timing, room booking…)
Actively track and monitor interview progress of fresh graduates including number of interviews set, job offers received, salary ranges, and take necessary actions to push in any case.
Liaise with accounting to manage payment collection of hired students and RPs
For recruits hired under SEF’s Managed Service on behalf of an RP, support RP and recruit with legal and other employment-related admin as well as space/office matters
Check in with employed graduates to get feedback in an ongoing fashion
Check in with those that have interviewed and not hired as well
Collect data from students and alumni and RPs for promotional and reporting purposes
