SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
Solidarités International (SI) is a non-governmental organization committed to providing universal access to drinking water and sanitation, SI is there to help people hit by war, epidemics and natural disasters. In Lebanon, its work aims to support the refugees and local population in deprived situation.
SI is currently improving its information management capacities. In its Lebanese mission, data structures and channels, as well as roles and responsibilities have been redefined in a quite innovative way in the past 3 years through its Information Management department.
This department aims at improving the overall humanitarian impact of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Lebanon but on a larger scale of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in all its mission and the humanitarian community in general, with a direct and tangible impact for the population suffering from humanitarian crisis.
One of our most recent innovation is the use of a WhatsApp Bot to bridge the beneficiaries in needs of assistance with humanitarian services providers. It works like an automated voice mail but using WhatsApp. This new tool, called SOLIS Bot, helps replacing face-to-face interaction when it is not possible like in times of pandemics. It keeps a communication channel for people in distress.

TECHNICAL CONTEXT
In order to support our communication plan we are seeking for professional support in the production of short narrative and reports to promote the project. The scope of each release will be detailed with the selected supplier.
Our ideal candidate is a professional, skilled and talented (copy)writer with an amazing sense of synthetization and high creativity. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you.

Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in litterature, journalism, copywriting or equivalent
• Portfolio of articles, press release, resume, reports, commercial ads,...
• Understanding of digital concepts and IT sector in general
• Experience in writing about digital innovation
• Experience in promoting new ideas or concepts
• Exceptional creativity and innovation
• Attention to detail
• Time management and organizational skills
• Fluent in English and Arabic (speaking/reading/writing)

TASKS REQUESTED
• Understand the field work of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL, our digital innovation projects, brand identity and values and translate them into simple concepts and narrative for non-skilled readers.
• Interviews of key projects stakeholders and users, including humanitarian field interviews
• Develop creative narrative to grasp readers’ interest and promote our project

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES
• Different formats (4 pages/2 pages/1 page) narratives text in English showcasing the project and end-users’ experience as well as interviews with team members.
• Provide English press releases versions in a 400 words format for external diffusion
