Psychologist -Central Bekaa

• Identified vulnerable cases are provided with direct psychosocial support and internal and external referral as needed, accordingly to a beneficiary/survivor-centered approach and based on guiding principles
• Assist the SGBV and CP caseworkers in the detection of most vulnerable cases.
• Provide a clinical assessment on identified cases of persons at risk and survivors of SGBV and Child cases.
• The Psychologist will open individual files for survivors, monitor the service provision, and ensure that cases under assistance receive all the care and support needed.
• Provide identified children and adolescents at risk, women and girls, men and boys, both refugee and host community survivors, or at risk of SGBV/Child Abuse, with emotional support, ad hoc immediate assistance.
• The psychologist will provide beneficiary/survivor access to immediate, safe and multi-sectoral services through referral, psychosocial support, and quality case management for identified cases of SGBV and Child Protection: the Psychologist ensures a timely referral to most appropriate services available (medical care, mental health, and psychosocial support, legal counseling and assistance, safe shelter, education and livelihood opportunities) according to the needs and established SOPs.
• Support the development and establishment of internal and external referral and coordination mechanisms for assistance to PoC at risk or survivors of SGBV/ Child Abuse in close cooperation with UNHCR and other relevant actors
• Organization and facilitation of regular peer-led Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and specific psycho-social group activities
• Participate in targeted recreational activities in the Child-Friendly Spaces or informal life skills training in identified premises
• Organize and facilitate regular peer-led Focus Group Discussions FGDs: conduct group discussion with individuals, families and host communities
• The Psychologist will regularly organize and facilitate briefings on Child Protection and SGBV related issues to local networks, key community members (such as refugee community focal points), as well as authorities to raise awareness on diverse protection concerns and encourage timely referral

Produce and maintain accurate records and follow up action plans of the beneficiaries: cases files and technical reports must be archived in a locked and

• secure location, access to them should be restricted only to relevant, authorized CP and SGBV project staff.
• Set up a monitoring system to evaluate the effectiveness and the impact of individual counseling and psychological support interventions
• Ensure a daily quantitative and qualitative reporting through specific reporting tools (Assessment Form, Psychological follow up form, Intake Form, etc).
• Participate in the analysis and reporting of global issues in the refugee population, with a focus on psychosocial and psychological issues
• Identify specific needs on psychosocial and psychological issues of the project’s beneficiaries, as well as to contribute to the assessment of these needs
• Participate in formal and informal meetings with the team, and contribute to a qualitative analysis of the different kinds of issues, at the individual, familial and community level
• Participate in the reporting of activities and evolution of the beneficiaries psychosocial situation.
