RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Partnership Management:
  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with partners, colleagues and management
  • Coordinate with the M&E person in charge of the partner and agree on the tools and methodology of follow up and evaluation
  • Design the indicators if needed and the templates to be used and updated when needed in the project with partners

 

  1. Project Management:
  • Participate in the formulation of data collection forms and monitoring templates, exit and satisfaction surveys, focus group discussions and individual interviews with beneficiaries of services.
  • Collect and systemize information on progress of the sectors of each activity of the projects being implemented by Al Majmoua.
  • Assist in identifying and generating success stories, briefing documents and other materials.
  • Support the NFS Team in developing a list of indicators per project in a user-friendly database to enable the fulfillment of reporting obligations to donors.
  • Provide supervision for enumerators throughout quantitative data collection.
  • Support the project team in creating databases templates for their project activities.
  • Help in building a public relations network with the media (if needed).
  • Any additional tasks requested by the NFS Unit supervisor / Manager.

 

  1. Staff Management:
  • Liaise with Field Staff for field-visits.
  • Manage a team of M&E Assistants, delineating their responsibilities by grant/project specific in order to support programmatic activities and ensure these are monitored and evaluated in a timely, efficient and effective matter.
  • Identify the M&E training needs of the M&E team and work with the team and other collaborators such as the NFS unit supervisor to plan and implement training that meets these needs.
  • Coach, train, and mentor M&E Assistants with the aim of strengthening their technical capacity, exchanging knowledge within the M&E team

 

  1. Follow up and Reporting:
  • Ensure that all field data is captured, segregated and analyzed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a database and appropriate documentation of M&E data collected, disaggregated per program requirements, and organized as necessary to meet reporting requirements throughout the lifetime of the program
  • Plan and follow up on the timeline of all the M&E activities.
  • Report immediately on achievements or difficulties faced on the field
  • Report on the progress of M&E activities on a daily and weekly basis
  • Conduct regular monitoring field-visits to the project sites and submits the necessary field-reporting documentation with the relevant recommendations.
