Scope of work
As part of Islamic Relief – Lebanon Office’s shelter and WASH program to be implemented in Governorates of Beirut and Mount Lebanon - area affected by the Blast, IRL aims to support and improve access to safe and appropriate shelter among house communities and refugees, women, men, girls and boys, particularly female-headed households.
For this aim, IRL is seeking a contractor(s) to complete the rehabilitation works in more than 88 households, with damage level L1 and L2, divided into two lots, and each lot is divided into two phases; each phase includes a minimum of 22 households.
The project also includes distribution and installation of more than 100 water tanks (minimum 50 water tanks each lot).
The work can be summarized as restoring the houses to their initial conditions prior to Beirut blast, including, but not limited to, the following activities:
• Demolishing works: Demolition of defected items as blocks, tiles, water points, etc.
• Repair of concrete, blocks and plastering defects.
• Repair of existing electrical installations.
• Repair of plumbing and sanitary installations for toilets and kitchens.
• Installation of new water tanks and pipes.
• Repair of damaged doors and windows (Wooden and metal works).
• Installation of new doors and windows (Wooden and metal works).
• Water proofing insulation works.
• Painting of walls and ceiling.

How to apply
- Only high profile companies are required to submit to this bid.
- 5 good references with name and number should be submitted with the proposal
- A meeting would take place (remotely or physically) with the representatives of the companies submitting to this bid before giving the final approval.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for consideration of this tender, a tenderer should meet the following requirements:
- Company Registered and has a financial number and VAT number.
- Flexible in payments.
- Clear proposal stamped and signed by the company name.
- Has a bank account by the company name (same as company name used to apply to tender) and can receive external bank transfer.
- No proposal will be accepted through email, please submit them to the office (address above, sealed and stamped).
