The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible on supporting the logistics department in Procurement, warehousing and asset management capacity, including but not limited to:
- Ensure adherence to NRC’s logistics handbook and procedures, other NRC policies and donor requirements
- Undergo procurements and purchases as per NRC procurement procedures
- Participate in tender processes, including preparation of tender files, bid analysis, communication with potential suppliers and tender evaluation reports
- Manage the Beirut warehouse setup, daily follow and stock reporting
- Directly manage the warehouse assistant position and ensure capacity building and performance follow up
- Assist in asset management for Beirut offices and allocated community centers
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain, or any relevant field
Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics, procurement and contracts management; preferably within a humanitarian context;
Experience in supply chain operations; and key institutional donor’s rules and regulations;
Experience in fleet, warehouse and assets management.
Proficient in MS Office applications
Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and verbal
