Environmental expert/engineer and manager (15+ years experience, at least 10 in environmental pollution abatement field)

Project description: Environmental engineering project aiming at offering technical assistance to polluting industries in Lebanon to introduce mitigation measures to reach environmental compliance with regulations in Lebanon notably Environmental Protection Law 444 and Environmental Limit Values Law 8/1. The project also aims at offering business advisory services to small to medium enterprises in the aim to securing credits for business expansion and job creation.
Education: bachelor in civil, environmental, chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering
General experience: at least 15 years working exp after university degree. Part of this experience at least 8 years in managing and leading role
Specific experience: at least 10 years of demonstrated experience in design and supervision of similar projects (such as pollution abatement in industrial sectors, WW management, SW management, environmental impact mitigation, etc.). Expertise in local Lebanese environmental regulation and knowledge of policies and programs related to hazardous and industrial waste management is also needed. Experience in EU procedures and regulations considered an asset
