Enumerator (National candidates only)

CISP is active in South Lebanon implementing projects funded by different Donors and targeting both Syrian Refugees and hosting communities in the Governorates of South Lebanon and Nabatiyeh.

CISP is opening a selection for Enumerators to be employed in the assessment campaign for winterization of tents in Informal Settlements.

Excluded candidates meeting the requirements will be enrolled into CISP roster for possible future needs.

Selected candidates are requested to undergo for a specific training for the compilation of the questionnaire set for the purpose. Attendance to the said training is obligatory prior to the signature on any contract.

Under the coordination of the line manager and monitoring of the deputed Field Officer and IM Officer, the Enumerator will be responsible for:

• Assessment and data collection, by means of a set questionnaire, for the informal settlements of Syrian refugees (field work);
• Enter the data collected into an online database (office work), at the end of each day;
• Correction of possible mistakes once the data entered are verified by CISP Information Management Officer.

The position requires to interact with persons of different background. As such the candidate should be calm and polite while rigorous and precise in doing the job.

Furthermore, the Enumerator must be ready to be flexible, as the work programme might be subject to sudden changes.

In order to obtain the necessary clearances to implement the work on the field, CISP might be required to share personal information of the implicated personnel with both State and non-State actors. Failing to obtain the mentioned authorization will cause cessation of the collaboration. Applying for this position, candidate accepts CISP to disclose non-critical personal information (full name, date of birth, residence, copy of ID document).

Work will be paid based on achievements, in proportion to the number of questionnaires effectively and usefully uploaded (and eventually corrected) into databases.

Confidentiality: the position gives access to personal information of beneficiaries that must be treated carefully and that cannot be shared or disclosed out of the CISP team.

THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

• Experience in need assessments for shelter and/or wash needs with NGOs
• average computer skills;
• Willingness and ability to be flexible
• Be rigorous, precise, calm and polite;

Desirable:

• Studies, including ongoing, in the field of construction and related fields.
• Valid driving license.
• Good knowledge of English language;
• Work experience with international NGOs

Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English

Period: Assessment of all Informal Settlements is planned to start by August 2020 and to last maximum 5 weeks
