The John Paul II Foundation for the dialogue, cooperation and development originates in 2007 from the decennial commitment of Fiesole, Montepulciano, Chiusi, Pienza and several other Dioceses, in cooperation with other lay and catholic institutions, in favour of Middle Eastern Countries and similarly disadvantages areas in the world. The Foundation aims to represent an instrument to foster dialogue among

people, cultures and religions, and offers an opportunity to promote international cooperation projects. Its main intention is to play a relevant role as a connection between lay and religious authorities operating in the development field in the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern environment, by means of tangible and durable interventions able to consistently weigh on the targeted economical, social and cultural contexts. The John Paul II Foundation is recognized as an official member organization with general consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council and The John Paul II Foundation is officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to operate in the field of international cooperation in accordance with art. 28 L. 49/1987

Fondazione Giovanni Paolo II – (FGPII) intends to launch a tender procedure in the framework of the project LBN 1005-21 - “LBN 1005-21 Strengthening the resilience and coping capacities of vulnerable rural population in North and East Lebanon” funded by the BMZ, through Welthungerhilfe e.V in Lebanon.
The objective of this Open Local Tender is to supply and install a vertical side wall greenhouse, dimensions 8x41,5 meters, suitable for vegetables seedlings production, equipped with an irrigation and heating system, to be delivered to Andket Agricultural Cooperative.

CONSTRUCTION OF A FOOD PROCESSING CENTER IN ANDKET

Build a food processing facility in Andket, Aakar district:
The proposed project aims to establish a food processing center in Andket, situated within the Aakar district. This center will serve as a facility for the processing of agricultural produce to the needs of a food processing cooperative. With a total area of 120 square meters, the facility will be designed to accommodate both the practical requirements of food processing operations, the administrative needs of the cooperative and the need to have a space for members meeting and B2B.

In the framework of the Project “Strengthening the resilience and coping capacities of vulnerable rural population in North & East Lebanon” JPII will recruit an Administrator/Accountant that will support the Finance department’s management of accounting systems, policies and procedures in compliance with JPII established accounting standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), donors’ rules and regulations, and legal requirements to support high-quality programs. the candidate will help coordinate daily financial activities through preparation and delivery of financial service.
