Media And Social Media Observer

KULLUNA IRADA is a civic movement for political reform founded in 2015 by Lebanese from the diaspora and from Lebanon looking to put their passion for change, their expertise as well as their human and financial capital at the benefit of good governance in public policies and to become a platform for all civic-minded citizens. KULLUNA IRADA’s work is centered on three areas of intervention: public policies through proposition of governance reform in pressing public issues, citizenship through becoming the voice and the platform to all reform-minded citizens, and grassroots to disseminate its ideas and principles within various groups of society and build its constituency. KULLUNA IRADA is now constituting an executive team and is looking for a motivated and committed media observer, in charge of:
 

Monitor newspapers and TVs
Monitor local and international news on selected websites
Monitor social media activities
Monitor trending discussions on social media
Collect social media data
Recommend hashtags and search keywords to follow
Read and analyze analytics reports (Facebook and Google Analytics, Social Bakers statistics, etc.)
Write a daily monitor report

 
 
Skills:

At least two years of experience in journalism, media or research
University degree in one of the following fields: Journalism, Media Studies, Communication, Psychology or Sociology
Good knowledge of public issues in Lebanon
Basic knowledge of social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram mainly) – Advanced experience (as a micro-blogger, page manager, advertising experience, community management, etc.) is a plus
Basic understanding and use of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge and/or experience in Statistical analysis is a plus
Good reading command of English and Arabic
Good command of writing in English. French is a plus.
High ethics and motivation to work for change
