لال هذا الحوار، سيستعرض د. مكيلي سكالا العمل الجاري الذي يقوم به «مركز العلوم الاجتماعية للأبحاث التطبيقية» حول الحماية الاجتماعية في لبنان، مع تحليل أوجه التمييز والامتيازات المتقاطعة في إطار الحماية الاجتماعية الحالي، إلى جانب اقتراح سُبُل الإصلاح في هذا المجال. وسيُدعى المشاركون لمناقشة الخلاصات والإدلاء بآرائهم.
يسّر مركز دعم لبنان أن يعلن عن إطلاق سلسلة ندواته الإفتراضية لعامي ٢٠٢١-٢٠٢٢: ما بعد الشتاء والربيع: السياسة والنزاعات الاجتماعية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا بعد العام ٢٠١١
The Lebanese Sociological Association (LSA, supported by the International Sociological Association), in collaboration with Jadaliyya/ASI, Lebanon Support, and the Sociology, Anthropology and Media Studies Department at American University of Beirut (AUB), is organising a two-day workshop on the topic of social movements in the Arab region, with a special focus on two countries that did not directly witness the Arab Uprisings: Lebanon and Iraq.
