Job Purpose:
community Outreach Volunteers, based in Tripoli, Minnieh-Donnieh, and Akkar, report to the Field Officer Responsibilities: - Assistance in the implementation of community-based activities. - Identification,
planning, and mobilization of community groups. - Ensuring that identification and referrals are conducted safely, transparently, confidentially, and efficiently to meet the needs and provide access to necessary
services. - Screening of targeted beneficiaries for potential malnutrition cases.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with local authorities and all related stakeholders to explain the project's objectives, services provided.
- Support the Field Officer in preparation for outreach work.
- Conduct door-to-door visits to identify and engage the targeted communities.
- Screen cases for protection and ensure safe referral.
- Promote health, nutrition, and protection (PSEA, GBV, CP) awareness topics.
- Provide counseling sessions related to optimal Infant and young child feeding practices at the field level.
- Record and keep collected information on daily counseled PLWs and caregivers and produce daily reports using data entry formats in tablets generated for standard reporting
- Follow up with pregnant women, especially those not attending their antenatal care (ANC) visits at the PHCs, particularly those with critical pregnancies.
- Identify malnutrition cases (SAM and MAM) through screening of targeted beneficiaries (Pregnant Lactating Women and Children Under 5 years old).
- Ensure that safe identification and referrals are made with transparency, confidentiality, and efficiency to meet the needs and provide access to needed services.
- Distribute supplements to children under 5 and women of reproductive age and provide the caregivers with the required education.
- Support in response to the emergency in Lebanon.
- Communicate any issues encountered during data collection immediately to the Field Officer.
- Filling the data accurately including all notes collected from the field using Kobo/papers forms.
- Ensure data protection and confidentiality.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery, Nutrition, and Dietetics, or any other related health bachelor
- At least 2 years’ experience (at least 6 months experience in a similar position).
- At least 1 year working experience at NGO.
- Fluent in Arabic
