AHLAN has launched a series Matbakh (home restaurants), Beit (guest homes) and Deken (farm shops) – owned by youth, women and families, across Lebanon.
AHLAN projects are community-based social enterprises that aim at keeping youth in their localities and creating sustainable local businesses, they help alleviate the unprecedent economic crisis that Lebanon is going through and they provide job opportunities for vulnerable youth and females within their communities to meet the increasing demand in the agro-tourism sector.

As Lebanon is still struggling with the social, economic and political crisis which lead more and more youth to leave the country looking for jobs abroad, AHLAN – the newly created network by Souk el Tayeb launched a new approach to local tourism and productive economies in order to create jobs for youth therefore keeping them in their country and mainly in their native villages.
