Sheild - Social, Humanitarian, Economical Intervention For Local Development - Calls

Within the framework of the School Snacks Program for 2024-2025 initiated by WFP, SHEILD is looking to contract with a supplier or suppliers that will be able to deliver nutritious snacks to approximately 30,000 children enrolled in 55 schools in the Governorates of South (Saida, Sour), El Nabatieh (Marjayoun, Hasbaya, Bent Jbeil) and Mount Lebanon (Aley, Baabda, Chouf, El Meten).

In light of the tensions in Southern Lebanon and the potential for escalating armed conflict, SHEILD is focusing on preparedness measures to ensure a swift response to emerging needs. The initial emergency response will involve collaborating with community-based kitchens to prepare ready-to-eat meals and distributing these meals to internally displaced populations (IDPs) staying in public shelters across all governorates of Lebanon.
Therefore, SHEILD is seeking to contract with a vendor capable of supplying the "packaging materials" required for the distribution of the ready-to-eat meals

SHEILD Association in collaboration with Mercy Corps will address the immediate needs of beneficiaries, empower IDPs and the local community, and strengthen the local economy. By facilitating a sustainable food and NFI provision system for vulnerable households throughout the ongoing conflict in Southern Lebanon, by distributing 3,500 food kits to 3,500 to host and displaced families reaching approximately 15,000 individuals, in the South and Nabatieh Governorates.

SHEILD is looking to collaborate with a supplier that will be able to provide SHEILD with One Thousand One Hundred Mental Health Psychosocial Support - MHPSS Kits

Within the framework of the School Snacks Program for 2023-2024 initiated by WFP, SHEILD will be requested to contract with a supplier to deliver nutritious snacks to approximately 18,500 children enrolled in 34 schools in South Lebanon and Nabatieh Governorate. Therefore, SHEILD is looking to collaborate with a supplier that will be able to provide the snack bags for the school snacks to be packaged in.

Within the framework of the School Snacks Program for 2023-2024 initiated by WFP, SHEILD will be requested to contract with a supplier to deliver nutritious snacks to approximately 18,500 children enrolled in 34 schools in South Lebanon and Nabatieh Governorate.
Currently, all 34 schools will operate on a schedule of four days a week. Any modifications to the school's opening days will be conveyed to the supplier in advance. The number of students per snack bag for each distribution day is 18,500.

These goods will be part of the snack bags that shall be provided to 18,500 students distributed between 34 schools in South Lebanon and Nabatieh Governorate
