Early Childhood Education Teacher (Kid's Club)

Description

• Plan, organize and implement classroom activities and structured lessons for children between the ages of 5-6.  
• Develop and lead children activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical, social, cognitive and emotional growth and ensure their security and well-being.
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.
• Collaborate and coordinate with international volunteers supporting the program to ensure the smooth running of the program
• Report on potential concerns about children attending the class to the Community Centre manager

Requirements

• Early Childhood Education Degree
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting
• Experience working with vulnerable populations
• Fluent English and Arabic (Written and Oral)
• Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intercultural awareness and knowledge on child protection practices
• Criminal record check  

Conditions

• Contract type: Part time (8 hours a week)
• Contract duration: 12 months (1 month probation subject to performance)
• Salary: $10/hr
• Start date: as soon as possible.
