MANCHETTE - About

Manchette is a non-profit association based in Beirut formed by journalists working in different media companies on the local and international scope. They all shared a common belief in “the art of journalism” as a tool to spread culture, dialogue, freedom of speech and criticism aiming at building peace, freedom and Human Rights as the pillars of society.

Manchette is actually organizing the Beit Beirut Project, a 1-year “public” immersive and interactive exhibition at Beit Beirut, addressed to the General Public, thought and led by Lebanese activists, journalists and artists. It will represent (finger crossed) an unprecedented step in term of “Access to Culture for All” in Beirut, while dealing with social changes, arts, investigative journalism, social justice, education, innovation, civic youth engagement and much more.
