Request For Quotation – Breastfeeding Awareness Campaign With The Ministry Of Public Health

In the context of the national program for breastfeeding, The International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) and World Vision are partnering with the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) to execute a national breastfeeding awareness campaign supported by UNICEF, in the occasion of the World Breastfeeding Week in August and September 2015.

Interested organizations are requested to submit a quotation for the production of material to be used in the above mentioned Campaign.

Q: Who is the main target of the communication?
A: The campaign targets the Lebanese community as a whole. Women and men. We do not have a specific group in the community. The aim is to normalize breastfeeding and sensitize the community that it is the normal way of feeding infants.

Q: Should the campaign be informative about the benefits in general or specific benefits?
A: The campaign should be general and not specific or focused only on one kind of benefit.

Q: What are the specific objectives of the campaign?
A: The specific objective of the campaign is "by the end of the campaign, it is expected that at least 75% of interviewed women and 50% of interviewed men are aware of the WHO recommendations for breastfeeding". We are looking at empowering men and women with the basic information related to breastfeeding so they demand for it as a right.

Q: How will the financial cost be evaluated?
A: The technical committee will choose the best creative work(s). Those selected by the technical committee will be referred to the financial committee who will open the financial file and choose the lowest price. It was mentioned that the companies will cost the creative part and not the production part.
