ECODIT Beirut/LLC - Calls

ECODIT intends to engage a Research Institution/University as a Service Provider to conduct analyses on
composting Agri-food Waste (AW) Generated from Large Biodegradable Waste Generators (LBWG) in
Ansariyyeh. The estimated period of performance (POP) is May 10, 2023 – August 10, 2023. This
Scope of Work (SOW) describes specific activities anticipated over this period. The service provider shall
conduct all activities and prepare deliverables under the technical direction of the DAWERR Chief of Party
(COP) or his designee.

The purpose of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to solicit grant applications, from qualified Lebanese entities (see section 3), preferably based in the targeted areas of the groupings (see above) for funding available through the USAID DAWERR Activity. Applicants are given the option to apply for the full grant amount to cover the entire grouping, or for a portion of it to cover one or more municipalities within the grouping. In the latter case, and upon selection, DAWERR will facilitate close collaboration between the various grantees (no more than three per grouping).

Under the USAID-funded Diverting Waste by Encouraging Reuse and Recycling (DAWERR) Activity (The Activity), ECODIT is seeking to engage, on a consultancy basis (individual) /Short Term Technical Assistance (STTA), a Civil Engineer to assist the team in preparing designs and tender documents for composting stations in Ansarieh, Ras el Matn and Anfeh municipalities.

ECODIT Beirut LLC is soliciting expressions of interest and submission of pre-qualification data (Phase 1) from qualified Bidders/Construction Contractors for the construction of an organic waste composting station, including land preparation works, in Baskinta, Matn District. A Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) formed by ECODIT will evaluate all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) received and short-list up to three bidders/contractors based on the eligibility for pre-qualification and the evaluation factors described in this request for EOIs.
