Digital Opportunity Trust Lebanon - Calls

The purpose of this tender is to offer DOT Lebanon’s staff the opportunity to develop their skills and grow their career within the organization and to enhance the teams’ performance and productivity.

DOT Lebanon and ACTED have developed a proposal that aims at enabling women economic participation by giving them the digital tools and capacities required to perform at their best. The project scopes kickstarting the digital transformation of 10 municipalities in South and Bekaa, installing the digital culture and capabilities in all its female staff and women organizations / cooperatives in the area.

Provision of consultancy to design and implement an end-to-end scanning and archiving system in 10 (already selected) municipalities in the South and Beqaa, and train specific people on the use and maintenance of that system.

Enhancing the competency of Lebanese civil society organizations in using digital tools for work streams and processes within their organization and in their outreach. The proposal was funded by the German Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen and the German Federal Foreign Office in February 2021.
The project covers 7 civil society organizations to take them through a capacity building process. A particular concern was for organizations to integrate digital tools into their organizational systems and their organizational culture.

The purpose of this tender is to offer DOT Lebanon’s staff the opportunity to develop their skills and grow their career within the organization and to enhance the teams’ performance and productivity.

DOT Lebanon needs to recruit a Digitization Officer who can support the curricula digitization and gamification process for a period of 4 months on a part time basis. The Digitization and Admin Officer will report to DOT Lebanon’s Technology and Learning Manager.

Improve motivation and ability of relevant stakeholders working in the Gender and Women-led organizations to design and implement gender-responsive programs, services and policies with young women for young women.
Strengthen linkages and networks between local, national and international actors to support innovative and equitable approaches to economic and social development for young women (increased ability to work together).
Support DOT Lebanon’s research on best practices in convening an ecosystem around gender equality dissemination

DOT Lebanon and Helvetas Germany have developed a proposal that aims at enhancing the competency of Lebanese civil society organizations in using digital tools for work streams and processes within their organization and in their outreach. The project will scope 8 civil society organizations that will be selected jointly by DOT Lebanon and Helvetas to take them through a capacity building process. A particular concern will be for organizations to integrate digital tools into their organizational systems and their organizational culture.

Lebanon is prone to many natural and man-made disasters of different kinds, and the nation is vulnerable to the devastating effects of these disasters. Many of these disasters have a public health significance either directly in the case of epidemics of infectious diseases, or indirectly as a result of the breakdown of infrastructure associated with these disasters.

The purpose of this initiative therefore is to increase the capacity of DOT Lebanon staff to plan for response, mitigation and preparedness for disasters.
