Danmission's work in the MENA region focuses on: dialogue and interreligious understanding, minority rights, inclusive citizenship, poverty reduction and Church development. Danmission has been present in the MENA region for more than 100 years. Currently, Danmission is supporting projects in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt and Jordan. Danmission is an independent Danish NGO connected to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark. Our mission is to create peace and understanding through dialogue and combating poverty for people in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Danmissions history dates back to 1821. Today we have about 55 employees and more than 8000 volunteers associated with the organization. Our work is supported by private donors, profit from thrift shops in Denmark, by the Danish government and by the European Union.

Baseline Study for Middle East North Africe (MENA) Regional Programme

Danmission is about to introduce a new change-based results framework (RF). The RF contains a mapping of the societal actors that Danmission and its partners intend to influence, combined with a mapping of dimensions of their possible change of behaviour1. These are the qualitative outcome indicators. The RF also contains quantitative indicators, the baseline for the quantitative indicators will be 0, since it counts the number of people reached, the number of initiatives, etc. Hence the baseline exercise is to assess qualitative indicators, meaning the mapped societal actors' current state of

Invitation to tender for Impact assessment

Danmission seeks to commission an Impact Assessment of parts of its engagements in the
MENA region. The aim is to sustain relevant lessons learned and collect crosscutting
learnings to be used in future engagements by Danmission and partners.
By signing this agreement, the Contractor furthermore agrees to follow Danmission’s AntiCorruption Policy and Code of Conduct (Annex 2), and Danmission’s Ethical Code of
Conduct. (Annex 3).

Programme Manager – Peacebuilding and Dialogue –MENA (based in Lebanon)

Are you a skilled programme manager with a flair for working with peacebuilding and dialogue, including interreligious dialogue? Or an experienced dialogue facilitator with experience in programme management? In both cases, you may be the person we are looking for as Danmission’s new programme manager.
You will be part of a team of programme managers and in charge of our cooperation with MENA partners working on issues related to faith, hope, resilience, stewardship, and social action for sustainable development.
