The Lebanon Agriculture and Rural Empowerment (ARE) program is supporting multiple tourism and hospitality MSMEs and is seeking targeted technical advisory and support to conduct coaching sessions on cost control strategies, techniques and tools in the tourism and hospitality services.
The cost control specialist will closely follow up on the coaching sessions design and delivery with ARE team.

The civil engineering manager will be primarily responsible for coordinating, under the guidance of the engineering manager, with CSP’s technical teams and procurement team that CSP’s infrastructure rehabilitation and construction projects are implemented according to international and Lebanese standards, CSP’s approved Quality Control Plan, and meet environmental compliance regulations.

The Regional Private Sector Engagement (RPSE) assistant is an early career level position for a candidate that seeks to apply his/her financial and business analysis skills to strengthen program design and implementation. The Assistant will work closely with ARE’s Private Sector Engagement Director and the four Business Portfolio Managers (BPM) on the day-to-day activity management that the department provides to the wider ARE program. The Assistant will have administrative, technical/operational and communication duties that are essential to the efficient and effective functioning of the team

The Lebanon Agriculture and Rural Empowerment (ARE) program is supporting around 190 MSMEs with material assistance in blast affected neighborhood under the intervention BBRB “Building Business Resilience in Beirut”. The supported MSMEs are mainly located in 3 areas which are: El Roum, Mar Mitr and Bourj Hammoud. Furthermore, the types of MSMEs are under various sectors such as Markets, Hair and Beauty shops, bakeries, restaurants and cafes, butcheries, small workshops and/or light manufacturing shops. ARE material support includes non-structural rehabilitation works, small equipment, etc.

The CLA specialist will conduct a CLA Assessment on the “Recyclables Waste Management” Sector at CSP. The CLA specialist is expected to document and report on how CSP teams have conceived RWM projects and how the teams have collaboratively learned and adapted implementation to contextual realities. The assessment is to provide Chemonics and USAID with lessons learned on RWM project design, implementation, and adaptations.

The Program and Communications Coordinator coordinates relationships with key stakeholders to design and implement effective people-to-people activities focused on conflict and violence prevention, in addition to delivering quality and timely writing deliverables under CSP’s Task Order No. 2 (TO2).

The electrical engineering specialist will be primarily responsible for working with CSP’s technical teams and procurement team on CSP’s infrastructure rehabilitation and construction projects. S/he will ensure that the interventions are implemented according to international and Lebanese standards, CSP’s approved Quality Control Plan, and meet environmental compliance regulations. The electrical engineering specialist assists the senior engineering manager in ensuring the soundness of design and monitoring progress for all CSP’s interventions with engineering components.

The Technical Advisor primarily engages with ARE’s partners and the Private Sector Engagement (RPSE) and Strategic Innovation Technology and Sector Development program management teams, serving as business analyst for ARE in order to provide a wide range of technical support and analysis related to financial performance, developmental impact and other relevant economic analysis.

The Lebanon Agriculture and Rural Empowerment (ARE) program is currently working on developing high-potential private sector-led tourism clusters in three geographic areas of Lebanon: (1) North, (2) Central, and (3) South, in addition to a national level cluster that would cater to all three geographic areas.

The Program Assistant is an entry-level position for a candidate that seeks to apply their management and business analysis skills to strengthen program design and implementation. The Assistant will work closely with ARE’s Program Specialist, Program Manager and ARE’s technical advisors on the day-to-day activity management that the department provides to the wider ARE program. The Program Assistant will also support in the follow-up with partners and stakeholders on implementation of interventions.
