Liaises with: Other social workers, educators, administrative staff and moderators

Job definition  

The Admission Agent will be involved in the Admissions procedures: reception, support, follow up and building a trustful relation with drug addicts and their families.

She will play an important role in guiding and motivating the individuals to complete our recovery program.

Main Responsibilities

 

.         Taking the first contacts/phone calls of the candidates

.         Assessing the social situation of the beneficiaries.

.         Following the needed procedures whether it is social, legal or medical by a continuous coordination with the responsible of the Health Care Department.

.         Clarifying treatment stages and approach through all recovery stages and various interventions.

.         Multidisciplinary staff coordination when needed.

.         Assuming administrative and reporting responsibilities. 

.         Might hold individual or group sessions

.         Translating the values and culture of the organization and looking after secure environment and promoting health. Ensuring that the ethical and professional standards of care and practice are met

.         Undergoing trainings and research.

.         Undertaking any other task that the management of the organization finds appropriate and in line with this job description

Education

BA in Social Work, family counseling, psychology or any relevated field.

A Master degree is a plus.

Experience 

A minimum of one year experience in jobs related to substance abuse and addiction recovery, counseling, social work or service, health care, NGO programs or educational organizations.

.         Gender: female

.         Age: 23 and above

.         Languages:  Fluent in Arabic, English and  French

.         Computer skills:  Competent in using Word, Excel and Power Point

.         Excellent communication skills, team player, creative, multi-task oriented

.         Strong sense of responsibility and  accountability

.         Able to handle difficult situations and adapt to changes.
