Successful candidate will be part of one of the most respected animal welfare organizations in the Middle East, managing the Animals Lebanon office as well as maintaining our relationship with current supporters and identifying new opportunities to build support.
Office management
Front desk work including email, telephone and fax communication
Maintaining inventory of supplies and ordering new supplies
Greeting visitors
Assisting and overseeing volunteers
Translation of documents and communications
Basic accounting and cash management
Supporter services
Manage or assist with supporter programs, utilizing volunteers to develop programs and meet regular targets
Oversee community events (i.e. trade shows, adoption days, festivals)
Provide assistance to Executive Director in all aspects of Animals Lebanon’s day to day activities.
Successful candidate must recognize that Animals Lebanon is a small but growing organization, and assistance in other aspects of the organizations work may be required from time to time.
Office assistant reports to the Executive Director.
Qualifications/Experience/Competencies
The successful candidate needs to be flexible, easy going, a good communicator, organized, adaptable, and have a positive outlook while working as part of a team or individually.
Must be completely fluent in English and Arabic, French is a plus
Must be computer literate including Microsoft Office
Must have an interest and respect for animals and the goals of Animals Lebanon
Must have transportation
